To book a slot at the Nexus Art Cafe gig

please read the following information before

The Nexus gigs run every Saturday.

 

Doors: Music will be performed from 2.30pm

to 6.30pm.

 

Admission: FREE!!

 

Slots:

 

Slots will start every 30 minutes from 2.30 and

are 20 minutes in length. Artists will be

expected to arrive at Nexus at least 30 minutes

before their allotted slot and report to Rob.

 

Artists must arrive

promptly at the scheduled

time to ensure they get to

play .

 

FLY POSTING: Please note fly posting is illegal and we do

not tolerate artists carrying out this practice on either private

property or council street furniture. In the event of a

complaint, we will pass the offending band's details onto

complainant.

 

EQUIPMENT: No PA is used for the Mostly Acoustic gig.

Think indoor busking...

 

PUBLICITY: Listings will be sent to N.M.E. Various

websites, radio stations and individual DJ's will also receive

the listings.Promoters flyers and posters are widely

distributed.

 

PAYMENT: No money will be paid to any artists as this is a

free gig.

 

CANCELLATION: If you have to cancel, please give

maximum notice. Bands cancelling a few days before a gig

with insufficient or unbelievable excuses will find it difficult to
